How the Worlds Came to Be

To follow up on my last journal entry, where I shared how my beliefs inspired my shop, I’d love to expand on how my "Worlds" came to be.
I grew up reading copious amounts of books. At times, those stories were my only friends because we moved frequently and I was painfully shy. I could immerse myself in the pages, lose myself with the characters, and experience life in ways I hadn't yet. From a very young age, I began acquiring a storytelling soul.
I don't want to just "sell" products or crafts. I want to offer you a piece of my world—a piece of my heart—that helps you find a slice of your own, makes you feel at home, or gives you that heartfelt feeling of finding the perfect gift for someone special.
My Apothecary World began when I first started making candles and wax products and discovered the first fragrance that truly felt like *me*: Mountain Meets Ocean. That scent eventually led to my flagship signature scent, **Where Worlds Collide**. From there, as I searched for new fragrances, everything seamlessly fit the theme—Mountain Mist, Tidal Whisper, Summit's Breath, and Siren’s Song. The collection came together naturally, spanning from the high mountains to the seaside and everything in between.
My Jewelry & Treasures Collection is inspired by nature's ability to create breathtaking gemstones in a rainbow of colors, alongside their metaphysical healing properties. Set an intention and wear a piece that carries that intention with you wherever you go. My goal is to create wearable art that holds real meaning for the person wearing it.
The Home &l Hearth collection was born from my love of scent and the powerful memories it can evoke. It’s designed for anything that helps you discover a piece of your own world or simply makes your space feel like home—whether that’s a handcrafted decor item, a piece from the past that speaks to you, or a comforting fragrance that reminds you of Grandma's kitchen.
The Whimsical Realm actually began from a very personal experience. When my sister-in-law was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer, I wanted a special way to show my support. I created my very first Advocate Gnome for what would become my Advocate Awareness series. As I was crafting this cute little pink-bearded gnome, I thought to myself: *he needs a name and a story.*
That was the spark for my storytelling gnomes. Now, every gnome gets a unique name and a backstory as their personality comes to life during creation. To ensure every single gnome is truly one-of-a-kind, each name is only ever assigned once.
Because I love doing things a little differently, I also started creating hobby and passion gnomes for people searching for unique, personal gifts—from doctors, nurses, and musicians (guitarists, singers, drummers) to a cozy knitting gnome complete with its own tiny needles and yarn. And, of course, you can't have gnomes without a few seasonal favorites featuring bunny ears, Grinch fur, or Santa hats!
